St. Nicholas Day

St. Nicholas Day came with it's usual magic!  I love telling the kids these stories about St. Nicholas and Santa.  So wonderful to see the magic in their eyes!  Daddy tried to cheat by putting more shoes out for St. Nick to fill!

Filled shoes, the girls got candy, and hair accessories, and some Christmas notepads and pencils.

Leah said she "heard" St. Nicholas come in through her window and step across their couch.  She made sure her eyes stayed closed and she pretended to be asleep.  Cool!

The girls were so excited by St. Nicholas day and they wanted to wear their Christmas dresses, so of course I let them. ; )
