Warm Play Jan. 30th 20112

I don't know how warm it got today, but it has been an unusually warm winter with very little snow.  As proof, I have these pictures of the girls playing on Jan. 30th of 2012 with no jackets, just sweatshirts and having a grand old time!

Self confidence Jan. 27th 2012

Asked Leah tonight, while snuggling, "Who loves you more than me?" Leah says "God and Jesus!" That a girl, "okay but only them." Kiss, kiss, snuggle, snuggle. Snuggling with Arika a few minutes later, "Who loves you more than me?"  She thinks for a minute....."ME!" Good answer! Way to have some good self confidence! You go girl! LOL!

The Minnesota Children's Museum-Arika 2012

On Jan. 26th, of 2012 I got to chaparone a field trip with Arika to the Minnesota Children's Museum in St. Paul.  The kids are learning about being community helpers.  They played builder, teacher, market and resturant worker.  They worked a TV producer board, played with shadows in the "theater" and even drove a bus.  Not to mention the story book playroom and the water fun!  Love love love it!  Being able to be there and share these joys with the kids is the absolute best part of my job!
