Animal Project II

Arika has to give a second animal project at school, she has already given a report on cougars to her English school.  Now it's Spanish school's turn and Arika decided she wanted to report on Gorillas.  We made a gorilla out of play-doh and I think it turned out pretty cute.  Leah got in on the action and wants to bring hers for share time at school.

Como Zoo March 2012

Spend another spring break day here at home where there is lots of local fun.  We spent March 8th at the Como Zoo with some friends from the MOM'S club Kelli and Jill.  And the girls got to hang with one of their bff's Ella!  Lions? Tigers? Bears? YOU BET!

Mall of America Spring Break 2012

On March 6th we celebrated a "stay-cation" with a day at the Mall of Amercia!
The girls had a blast on the rides, they went on the swings, which they loved. "Mommy it feels like I am flying!" 
They went on the log chute like 6 times!  Babe the Blue Ox was gigantic!  I thought Arika was going to jump out of the boat when she saw her! Arika was funny when she first got out of the boat she shouted "I AM SOAKED!" But she was laughing, we all were.
Leah wanted to try the grown up roller coaster and she did, because she was so brave, little sister decided she could do it too.  I was so proud to have both my girls on the big roller coaster.  It was the biggest one that didn't go upside down.  They LOVED it.  I swear I think they went on it like 10 times in a row!  They kept running off of it saying "one more time!"
We also took a sweet break at the Amercian Girl Doll store.  The girls had their dolls' hair done at the  dolly salon, and we ate snacks with our dolls in the cafe.  It was totally girlie awesomeness! 
One of our favorite stores to visit is the "As Seen On TV" store where we bought a no tangle brush, and a make your own slushy cup. 
Another highlight was taking the girls to a few stores to check out "fancy" dresses.  Arika saw one that looked short and she could not be convinced that it wouldn't fit her and was for older girls! LOL! 
Leah had fun pretending to be Rapunzel in the Disney store!  So adorable!
